Daniel is based in Brussels. In 2026, his work received 2 Independent Jury Awards at Berlinale: the Amnesty International Film Award, and the AG – Kino Gilde CinemaVision 14plus Award, as part of the feature-length documentary, What Will I Become?. He was selected to participate in the 2025 Aardman Academy shortly before relocating to Belgium.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Daniel went to Oberlin College where he studied Ecology.
Daniel started animating in 2020 when he directed animated, and edited his first short film, A Scavenger Hunt for People Loneliest in Their Own Homes, which was screened at festivals in 7 countries, and won Best Experimental Short at the Indie Short Awards Cannes.
Building upon that early success, his work has grown to span TV, Film, and Commercial, winning several international awards, and allowing him help directors and brands form emotional connections with their audiences.
